Reside Developments & Savills take on DIY Challenge for Lewes Scout Hut

On Wednesday 9th October, Reside & the Savills South East Development team undertook the monumental task of restoring the 6th Lewes Group Scout Hut.  The Hut suffered serious damage after a night of mindless vandalism and ever since, the Scouts and other community groups that use the Hut have had a nomadic existence.

We cannot thank everyone enough for their time, effort and kind donations whilst refurbishing the Scout Hut.  We are very proud of everyone’s efforts, team work and positive attitude on getting the hut safe and ready for the children.

Following its work with Horsham Football Club on successfully securing planning permission for their new stadium, Reside continues its relationship with the Club through pitch banner and football kit sponsorship. The Hornets have kicked off the season in great style and Reside will be supporting them every step of the way!

Full of enthusiasm for cycling and in order to help Challengers with their charity fundraising quest Richard, Tim and Andrew took to the saddle and pedalled a combined 26.5 kms on static bikes during their 15 minute slot -  a major contribution for the 523 km London to Paris cycle fundraiser!

Managing Director, Richard West has always had an enduring passion for rugby and one of the more able young players he coached at Cranleigh RFC was Luke Bargman who, following a very successful period of work experience, has recently joined the Reside team as Assistant Land Buyer. Continuing its close relationship with Cranleigh RFC, Reside Developments has agreed to sponsor the club, so in addition to working with his former mentor and coach, Luke who now plays for Cranleigh 1st XV will be taking to the field in a shirt displaying his new employer’s logo!
